The Italian beaches are open again. The summer season is about to begin. This year, thanks to Corona, beach guests do have with 10 sqm per beach set and a distance of at least 1.5 m to the next one extra much space on the beach. Also, the beaches and the sea of Marche region feature a series of green and blue flags standing for clean water and beaches. One of my very favourite ways to discover a new country or region is by bicycle. This is how I discovered a part of Peru, Northern Germany, Denmark or the Croatian coast from Trogir to Dubrovnik. Also, I like mountain biking on the gentle hills of my home region or a biking tour along a river. To move and to enjoy region and its people and culture at my very own pace... today this kind of travel is called slow travelling. I love colours. The more colours the better. This is also one of the reasons why I love Sicily. I love Sicily for the smell, for the taste, for the people, for the sea, for the culture, and for the colourful ceramics which can be met everywhere and with every step you take.
