One of my very favourite ways to discover a new country or region is by bicycle. This is how I discovered a part of Peru, Northern Germany, Denmark or the Croatian coast from Trogir to Dubrovnik. Also, I like mountain biking on the gentle hills of my home region or a biking tour along a river. To move and to enjoy region and its people and culture at my very own pace... today this kind of travel is called slow travelling.
